Feature chalk-art for Revival & Evangelistic Services, Vacation Bible Schools, camp services, outreach and community events, missions conferences, pulpit supply, holiday features, and more to re-engage people into the word with creative arts ministry. The spiritual fervor and enthusiasm of the Haynes family refreshes those who surround them in ministry and fellowship at each service.
Each chalk drawing is given away after the service in conjunction with various promotions of inviting or bringing the most visitors for that service. The church sometimes gets the chalk drawing for a permanent illustration of God's Word for those attending in the future.

Chalk Talks uniquely attract visitors and motivate people to see, hear, and experience a blank canvas transform into a captivating illustration of Scripture. This creative ministry incorporates music, art, and preaching to bring new vitality, excitement, and buzz in the surrounding communities for the Gospel. We gathered at the LeGrand Chalk Training Studio North Carolina for a 6-hour class for 11 students. All ended the day with meaningful beautiful illustrations of the Gospel. Each earned their certificate as beginner Gospel Chalk Artists (GCA), and we pray for God’s opening of doors for ministry. Your support helps us to train missionaries! Contact me if you are interested in learning chalk-art ministry, as other classes will be offered in the future.

How much time should be allotted for a chalk talk?
Most chalk-art services are about 35 minutes and fit nicely into the normal sermon time allotment. This includes preaching, drawing, and special music by Dwight & Ann. However, Dwight has done a Bible chalk-talk in as little as 6 minutes for a public school assembly time with no music, and can add music and teaching to fill up to 45 minutes of service time, depending on the needs and type of service. Can everyone see the drawing in a large auditorium? In larger facilities, a video camera and projection system allows everyone to see the details of Dwight's ministry of art and preaching. If the church does not have a video camera and/or projector, Dwight can bring this equipment if notified in advance. What happens to the large chalk drawings after the service? Each drawing is sprayed with sealant so that it can be rolled up and given away as decided by Dwight and the leadership. It can be framed in a poster frame or displayed "as is" like a poster hanging. Dwight often gives the drawing to one who invites or brings the most visitors. The drawing goes on to be a lasting testimony of a Bible message. What are the costs and financial considerations for the church? We commit to provide chalk-art, music, and preaching services at your request on a love offering plus expense basis. Call Rev. Dwight Haynes, 540-230-5782, to discuss special arrangements for your particular situation. Possibly another nearby church would share travel expenses and have this ministry on the same or close date. Save money on hotels and meals by using families in the church to house and feed the Haynes family, thus Dwight's expenses and honorariums can provide for his family to live and minister. How did you get started using chalk-art as a tool for ministry? At the suggestion of a college profession, I prayed to ask God for the talent and took a two-week, four-hour course on chalk-art ministry. God gave me the talent, and I use it for His glory. Will this be more entertainment than evangelism and exposition? Chalk-art serves as a tool to communicate the Word of God and the glorious Gospel of Christ. Dwight uses chalk to illustrate expository Bible messages and preaches with enthusiasm as he draws during the service. The audience's hearts are engaged in the message as it is reinforced by the illustration that unfolds throughout the service. This is ministry that has the advantage of being unforgettable, going far beyond the brevity of entertainment.
